FAS IMPOSED A FINE OF 22.3 MILLION RUBLES ON GAS DISTRIBUTION ORGANIZATIONS IN THE 1ST HALF OF 2022 FOR DELAYING THE TIMING OF GAS CONNECTION

It was announced by the Deputy Head of the FAS Russia Vitaly Korolev at a meeting of the Gasification Headquarters of the FAS Russia.
He remind that by the end of 2022, gas distribution organizations (GDO) have to ensure gas supply in settlements to the boundaries of land plots when there is a corresponding application.
On August 4, according to the Coordination Center of the Government of the Russian Federation, 97 thousand contracts expired, of which networks were built up to the boundaries of land plots only under 39 thousand contracts.
The heads of the Regional Offices of the FAS Russia reported on 116 resolutions on the imposition of fines against GDO, thereby protecting the rights and interests of citizens.
The next meeting of the Headquarters will be held on August 12.
