The remedies of FAS Russia are aimed at maintaining competition in the relevant markets

FAS Russia considered application for the acquisition of the Delivery Club service by Yandex and approved it with a remedy. One of the requirements of FAS Russia is the absence of any advantages for restaurants and delivery companies, which used the Yandex.Eats service, in relation to other aggregators. For restaurants, remedy ensures that the amount and procedure for the formation of reward are maintained for three years from the date of the transaction.

Besides, Yandex should not take measures aimed at refusing or reducing the use of Delivery Club or other third-party services by restaurants.

FAS Russia also approved VK's application for the acquisition of the news aggregator "Novosti" and the recommendatory platform "Zen" with a remedy. Thus, the operator of these platforms will be obliged, in cases stipulated by law, to request and obtain the consent of users to process personal data for each service separately.
