FAS APPROVED PREFERENCE TO ROSTOV FOOTBALL CLUB FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF CHILDREN AND YOUTH SPORTS

Granting of preferences will ensure the preparation of football teams and participation in competitions, including children and youth teams

FAS Russia was contacted by the Ministry of Sports of the Rostov region with an application for consent to grant a state preference to Football Club Rostov JSC for the development of physical culture and sports. It is referred to the transfer of 14 objects of immovable and movable property owned by the Rostov region for free use.

FAS Russia has established that the Club's activities are aimed at the development of football in the region. The club plans to hold medical and rehabilitation events at these facilities, football training for the main and youth teams, youth teams, as well as matches of the Russian Championship, the Russian Football Championship among youth teams and the Cup of Russia, which meets the stated purpose of the preference.

In this regard, FAS Russia approved the preference, while specifying a number of conditions that must be observed when using it. In particular, the targeted use of facilities and the limitation of the duration of the preference for 3 years.

FAS Russia will monitor compliance with the requirements of the antimonopoly legislation when using the preference. When violations are detected, FAS Russia issues an order to take appropriate measures*.

FAS Russia recalls that governmental bodies can send appeals for approval of state or municipal preferences for economic entities in order to ensure the vital activity of the population in the Far North, the development of education, science, culture, art, physical culture and sports, ensuring the country's defense capability and state security, agricultural production, public health, preservation cultural values, environmental protection, etc.**.
