FAS WILL SIGN AGREEMENT ON UNIFORM RULES OF COMPETITION IN THE UNION STATE
The corresponding decree was signed by the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin
The agreement will allow to harmonize the antimonopoly legislation of Russia and the Republic of Belarus. The document will create an organizational and legal framework for the protection of competition to ensure the effective functioning of commodity markets in Russia and Belarus. It will become a key element in the implementation of the Union Program* in the field of competition.
It should be noted that, as previously reported by the Head of FAS Russia Maxim Shaskolskiy, the experts of the antimonopoly authorities of the two countries have already prepared a draft intergovernmental agreement on common competition rules.
*The Union Program in the field of uniform competition rules is part of the main directions of implementation of the provisions of the Treaty on the Establishment of the Union State for 2021-2023.
