FAS HAS INITIATED CASE AGAINST THE ROAD CARTEL AMOUNTING MORE THAN 1.7 BILLION RUB

Signs of violation were revealed, including at auctions during the implementation of the national project "Safe High-Quality Roads"

FAS Russia initiated a case of violation of antimonopoly legislation* against LLC Vostok-MGK, LLC Vostokdorstroy, LLC Transline and LLC Pereval. The authority suspects the companies of concluding and implementing a cartel in order to maintain prices at auctions in the field of road construction in the Sakhalin region.

According to the preliminary assessment of FAS Russia, the amount of the initial maximum contracts is 1,773,880,711 rubles.

In case of finding fault, companies face turnover fines in accordance with the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation**.
