FAS REVEALED ROAD CARTEL WORTH MORE THAN 20 BILLION RUB

Six companies from Rostov and Volgograd regions are suspected of bid rigging in construction and repair of highways

FAS Russia initiated a case against LLC "T-Trans", LLC "Rostov DSU", LLC "RostovAvtoDorStroy", LLC "Taganrog DSU", LLC "VolgogradAvtoDorStroy" and LLC "Tatsinskoe DSU" on the signs of bid rigging*. Purchases took place in the field of construction, repair and maintenance of highways in Rostov and Volgograd regions.

According to the authority's preliminary assessment, the sum of initial (maximum) contract prices in 93 procurement procedures may amount to over 20 billion rubles.

The basis for the initiation of the case were the materials of unscheduled on-site inspections conducted by FAS Russia in 2021 in relation to LLC RostovAvtoDorStroy, LLC T-Trans, LLC Rostov DSU and LLC Taganrog DSU.

If the authority establishes the fact of collusion, companies will face turnover fines in accordance with the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation**.
