FAS: PJSC TGC-2 REPORTED ON THE PAYMENT OF A FINE OF 324.5 MILLION RUB
The funds were transferred to the budget of the Russian Federation
It should be reminded that in 2020, the Commission of FAS Russia recognized PJSC Territorial Generating Company No. 2 (TGC-2) as violating antimonopoly legislation [1] when conducting purchases for the supply of coal for the needs of cogeneration plants located in the Arkhangelsk, Novgorod and Yaroslavl regions.
In these regions, FAS Russia has identified signs of a cartel agreement between PJSC TGC-2 and other companies. The purpose of the agreements was maintenance of coal tender prices for heat power companies, as well as to create preferential conditions for one of the bidders.
In April 2021, the authority imposed the fine on the TGC-2 company in the amount of 324,550,150 rubles.
On September 30, 2022 the company reported on the payment of the full fine to the budget of the Russian Federation.
