FAS WILL WORK OUT PILOT PROJECTS ON TARIFF COMPLIANCE BY MARCH 2023

20-10-2022 | 11:43

We are talking about the formation of a system of internal compliance with the requirements of tariff legislation in the areas of housing and communal services and electric power

Tariff compliance involves the formation of a set of measures to eliminate the risks of negative consequences related to violations of tariff legislation.

The practice of FAS Russia shows that more than 90% of violations are associated with insufficient justification of the expenses of a regulated organization. The implementation of a tariff compliance will improve the quality of the economic and legal justification of expenses declared by a regulated organization for inclusion in tariffs.

Besides, its implementation will minimize the risks of cancellation of tariff decisions and prosecution.

FAS Russia notes that the implementation of tariff compliance will be voluntary.

It is planned to work out pilot projects by March 2023.
