OFFICIAL POSITION OF FAS RUSSIA ON THE LABELING OF ADVERTISING IN TELEGRAM
In connection with publications in the media, FAS Russia explains that advertising in Telegram does not require labeling in case resource is used as a "messenger" to exchange messages with specific users.
If Telegram is used to convey information to a wide range of users through the offered service capabilities (via Telegram channels), then such advertising falls under the Law on Advertising* and requires labeling.
