FAS: UNIFORM RULES FOR ENSURING PROTECTION OF COMPETITION WILL COME INTO FORCE IN RUSSIA AND BELARUS
Agreement on Uniform Competition Rules* was signed by Maxim Shaskolsky, Head of FAS Russia, and Alexey Bogdanov, Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of the Republic of Belarus
The key objective of the document is to ensure the protection of competition based on uniform rules for the effective functioning of commodity markets.
The Agreement defines the types of monopolistic activity and unfair competition that are subject to detection and suppression by the antimonopoly authorities of Russia and Belarus.
It also provides for the application of antimonopoly legislation to economic entities of the Union State on equal terms.
The Agreement will be a key element in the implementation of the Union Program** in the field of competition.
