FAS: THERE WILL BE NO PRICE INDEXATION FOR SULFUR, NITROGEN AND NITROGEN-CONTAINING FERTILIZERS IN DECEMBER

FAS Russia approved the orders and sent them to the major producers of mineral fertilizers and Gazprom Gazonefteprodukt Holding

Earlier, the methodological recommendations of FAS Russia provided for the indexation of prices for the period May-July 2021 below the inflation rate in June, September and December of this year.

In order to preserve the availability of mineral fertilizers and sulfur for domestic farmers, producers are recommended not to increase their cost in December 2022.

If such a decision is made, they should make changes to trade policies, post these documents on the website and send information to FAS Russia.

Sulfur is used for the production of fertilizers. Nitrogen and nitrogen-containing fertilizers are used by farmers during sowing. These include ammonium nitrate and carbamide.
