FAS PROPOSES TO LAUNCH BITUMEN EXCHANGE TRADING IN THE FIRST QUARTER OF 2023

06-12-2022 | 11:07

Currently, only direct contracts are registered on the commodity exchange. On their basis, over-the-counter national and territorial price indices for bitumen were formed - road, construction (including roofing), etc.

The cost of bitumen directly affects the cost of road repairs and construction of socially significant facilities.

In this regard, the issue of creating an exchange indicator is especially relevant on the eve of the spring and summer season. At this time, regional authorities are actively carrying out work on the reconstruction of roads, city streets, the construction of schools, hospitals, including within the framework of national projects.

The exchange indicator will become a reference point for government customers when determining the initial maximum price of contracts within the framework of purchases.

It should be reminded that the development of exchange trading is provided for by the National Competition Development Plan for 2021-2025.
