RETAILERS CAN TRANSPORT FISH PURCHASED ON THE STOCK EXCHANGE AT SUBSIDIZED RATES

Now retail chains can purchase it directly, and not from intermediaries

FAS Russia notes that the exchange trade in fish products is at an initial stage.

As an incentive measure, the authority proposed to establish subsidized tariffs for the transportation of fish products by rail.

The corresponding decree of the Government of the Russian Federation* has already entered into force.

The measure is aimed at developing exchange trading and increasing the product range, as well as expanding the line of fish purchases for retail chains and other market participants.
