FAS REVEALED CARTEL IN SUPPLY OF CAMERAS RECORDING TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS FOR MORE THAN 2 BILLION RUB
The companies are suspected of collusion at auctions in four regions of the country
FAS Russia has initiated a case on violation of antimonopoly legislation* against Paravan-2000 LLC, Scientific and Production Association Intelligent Technical Systems LLC and Road Control LLC.
FAS Russia suspects the companies of collusion at auctions held in the Amur, Volgograd, Kursk regions and in the Republic of Bashkortostan. Auctions were held for the supply and lease of electrical equipment to ensure safety and traffic control on highways and for the provision of services for the development of intelligent transport systems.
According to the preliminary assessment of the authority, the total amount of initial (maximum) contract prices in 6 procurement procedures may amount to over 2 billion rubles.
Signs of a competition-limiting agreement (cartel) have been identified by the antimonopoly service, including through digital tools and monitoring of procurement procedures.
In case of finding fault, companies face turnover fines in accordance with the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation**.
