FAS: ENTERPRISES IN THE FIELD OF MSW MANAGEMENT RECEIVED ADDITIONAL TARIFF INCENTIVES FOR SMOOTH OPERATION

Companies will be able to identify facilities for the purpose of priority actions to put them into operation

On behalf of the Government of the Russian Federation, FAS Russia has developed measures to support organizations in the field of solid municipal waste management, taking into account the current economic situation.

FAS Russia proposed not to exclude funds for MSW companies from the required gross revenue in case they fail to implement investment programs.

For this purpose, a decree of the Government of the Russian Federation was adopted on December 13, 2022*. A similar approach has already been approved for the electric grid complex, in the areas of heat supply, sanitation and water supply.

The document is aimed at ensuring the stability of the financial position of companies in the field of MSW and maintaining the size of the required gross revenue if it has not fulfilled the investment program.

The received amount of funds can be directed by the organization to the implementation of the production program - repair of facilities and equipment, purchase of fuel, which will ensure the continuity of the companies' activities.
