FAS ORDERED THE REC OF THE SVERDLOVSK REGION TO REVISE ELECTRICITY TARIFFS FOR 2023

The actions of the regional tariff authority revealed inconsistencies with the current legislation when setting tariffs

FAS Russia received numerous requests for electricity tariffs applied during the daytime and in the peak zone in the Sverdlovsk region.

The analysis conducted by FAS Russia showed that the regional energy commission set tariffs for electric energy with violations.

The authority canceled the resolution of the Regional Energy Commission of the Sverdlovsk Region* dated November 28, 2022 No. 236-PC "On setting tariffs for electric energy for the population and equivalent categories of consumers in the Sverdlovsk Region for 2023" and ordered the REC to set new tariffs by February 01, 2023.
