FAS RECOGNIZED MAIN OPERATOR OF THE KRASNOYARSK AIRPORT AS VIOLATING ANTIMONOPOLY LEGISLATION
The company has set a monopolistically high price for services for refueling complexes provided when refueling aircraft
It should be reminded that in September 2022, the authority initiated an antimonopoly case * against the main operator of the Krasnoyarsk airport –Yemelyanovo Airport LLC. The company set and maintained a monopolistically high price for services provided to refueling complexes for refueling aircraft.
During the consideration of the case, the antimonopoly service found that the organization in the period from January 2021 to the present includes items of expenses not related to the activities of refueling complexes in the cost of services. The price of services at the same time exceeds the costs and profits necessary for their provision. The inclusion of unreasonable expenses in the tariff is the setting of a monopolistically high price, since such a price exceeds the amount of necessary expenses and profits for the provision of the service **
Thus, the pricing system applied by the airport does not comply with the legislation and leads to unjustified benefits.
FAS Russia has issued an order to the main operator of the airport to set economically reasonable prices for services for refueling complexes. Besides, the main operator of the Krasnoyarsk airport will be fined in accordance with the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation.
