THE APPEAL SUPPORTED FAS IN THE ROAD CARTEL CASE FOR 9.1 BILLION RUB

Part of the funds for the construction and maintenance of highways were allocated within the framework of the national project "Safe High-Quality Roads"

The Ninth Arbitration Court of Appeal recognized the ruling of FAS Russia in relation to Stroydorservice LLC and KhabarovskDorsnab LLC as legitimate.

Recall that in April 2022, the antimonopoly service recognized the companies as violating the Law on Protection of Competition*. The organizations concluded an anti-competitive agreement within the framework of participation in trade procedures for the construction and maintenance of highways in the Primorsky and Khabarovsk Territories.

The companies entered into an anti-competitive collusion and, acting in concert, supported the prices at the auction with a cumulative starting price of 9,143,151,806 rubles.

Fines in the amount of 229,994,640 rubles** were imposed on organizations for the conclusion and implementation of a cartel conspiracy.
