FAS ISSUED WARNING TO TRADING HOUSE FTK LLC FOR UNJUSTIFIED SETTING OF PRICES FOR PROPPANT

FAS Russia received appeals from market participants that Trading House "FTK" LLC in the process of concluding contracts proposes a different price for each company.
The authority analyzed the market and found that Trading House "FTK" LLC occupies a dominant position.
Law on Protection of Competition prohibits such companies from setting different prices for the same product. In this regard, FAS Russia issued a warning to the company about the termination of signs of violation of antimonopoly legislation.
Besides, within 60 days after receiving it, the organization must send to the authority a draft trade policy for the sale of magnesia-quartz proppant.
In this document, it is necessary to indicate the pricing procedure, provisions on the consideration of proposals and the conclusion of contracts, etc.
After approval of the draft trade policy by FAS Russia, the company should approve the document within 10 days.
In the event that Trading House "FTK" LLC does not comply with the warning, the authority will initiate an antimonopoly case.
