19-04-2023 | 16:20

These included the areas of public procurement, agriculture, construction, as well as regulation of the advertising market

Maxim Shaskolsky, Head of FAS Russia, noted that the authority is working to optimize the legislation applied to the current economic conditions. Efforts of FAS Russia are aimed at supporting Russian enterprises, SMEs, improving the state order and supporting agricultural producers in terms of access to subsidies.

Thus, the control of transactions of economic concentration has been simplified. If the total value of the company's assets is from 800 million rubles to 2 billion rubles, the transaction can be made without FAS approval, but with subsequent notification of the authority. The mechanism of granting preferences to entrepreneurs has also changed, a notification procedure has become possible for them.

The authority actively interacts with the business community, including within the framework of the work of the Public Council under FAS Russia and industry expert councils.

Besides, FAS Russia sent recommendations and examples of best practices of interaction with the business community through Public Councils to the regional offices of the authority, which are actively used in the work.

In addition, in 2022 with the participation of FAS Russia and OPORA Russia, company Wildberries made changes to the offer for sellers on the marketplace. The parties continue to work on ensuring transparency of interaction between sellers and online platforms.

During the meeting the specifics and conditions of inclusion in the Register of unfair suppliers, the historical principle of distribution of export quotas in the field of agriculture were discussed. Additionally, the subject of discussion was the possibility of adjusting certain provisions of the Law on Advertising, in particular, concerning ads on classifieds and marketplaces, as well as sound advertising.

Head of FAS Russia suggested sending new initiatives of the association to the authority for consideration.
