FAS: CITIZENS WILL BE ABLE TO RECEIVE FULL INFORMATION ABOUT PAYMENT METHODS FOR PUBLIC SERVICES AND BANK COMMISSION

It became possible due to adoption of a resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation developed by the authority*

The document establishes uniform rules for accepting fees for services on the official websites of government bodies and portals of state and municipal services. Consumers will be informed about all payment methods available to them on these information resources. They will also be provided with mandatory information about the presence or absence of a commission for making payments. This information will allow citizens to choose the most acceptable payment method.

Besides, the resolution approved the mandatory disclosure of information on the conditions for connecting money transfer operators to the information systems of authorities and portals. As a result, payment services will be able to function on the basis of the principles of openness and non-discriminatory access of market participants.

The resolution will come into force on October 15, and the requirements for disclosure of information on the unified portal of public services – from June 18.
