FAS: THE REGULATOR OF THE VLADIMIR REGION WAS ORDERED TO EXCLUDE 298.6 MILLION RUBLES OF UNJUSTIFIED FUNDS FROM HEAT SUPPLY TARIFFS

188,96 million rubles of these have already been excluded during regulation for 2023

Recall that in 2021 the competition authority revealed violations in the actions of the Department of State Regulation of Prices and Tariffs of the Vladimir Region when setting tariffs for heat supply services for OOO Vladimirteplogaz*.

The Authority found that the regulatory body had accounted for economically unreasonable costs in the respective tariffs.

In this regard, an order was issued to exclude unreasonably included costs
for 2023-2024 in the amount of 298,6 million rubles from the tariffs for heat supply services for OOO Vladimirteplogaz, which was partially executed by the regulator. The tariff authority has already excluded 188,96 million rubles during regulation for 2023, and when regulating for 2024, it will be necessary to exclude another 109,64 million rubles of economically unreasonable costs from the corresponding expenses. The execution of the remedy remains under the control of the Authority.
