FAS: HEAT SUPPLY TARIFFS FOR RESIDENTS OF KASPIYSK ARE REDUCED BY 23.9 % IN 2023

In 2022, FAS Russia received a complaint about unreasonableness of tariffs of this heat supply company for the relevant services in the city of Kaspiysk. The authority analyzed the substantiating materials when setting tariffs for the company "Teplo-S" and revealed violations by the Ministry of Energy and Tariffs of the Republic of Dagestan.

The authority found that the regulator did not fully analyze the economic feasibility of the costs included in the tariff, took into account expenses at a level higher than those declared by the regulated organization, accepted expenses in the absence of a complete package of documents confirming the economic feasibility of the declared expenses.

FAS Russia has issued an order to the tariff authority to eliminate the revealed violations of tariff legislation in the field of heat supply.

The regulatory body has executed it in full. This made it possible to reduce the tariffs for heat supply of this organization in Kaspiysk by 23.9% relative to the previously established tariff for 2023.
