AUCTIONS FOR THE LEASE OF STATE PROPERTY WILL BE IN ELECTRONIC FORMAT

Ministry of Justice has registered the appropriate Order of the FAS Russia*

Previously, bidding was possible only in a "paper" form, and the regional authorities have repeatedly appealed to FAS Russia with a proposal to consider the possibility of their transfer to an electronic format.

The developed document introduces an electronic bidding procedure for the right to conclude lease agreements in respect of state and municipal property.

The changes will allow the state to conclude contracts at the most favorable price by increasing the number of competing companies and other participants. It will increase revenues from leasing state and municipal property to budgets of different levels.

Besides, the order will simplify the bidding procedure, increase their accessibility for participants, as well as contribute to increasing the overall level of digitalization in the country.
