REGULATOR OF THE ASTRAKHAN REGION EXCLUDED 89 MILLION RUB OF UNJUSTIFIED FUNDS FROM TARIFFS FOR 3 YEARS

40 million rubles were excluded from the tariffs for drinking water, 49 million rubles – from the tariffs for sanitation

Recall that in 2022 FAS Russia revealed violations in the actions of the Tariff Service of the Astrakhan region when setting tariffs for the Municipal Unitary Enterprise "Astrovodokanal". The authority found that the regulatory body had accounted for economically unjustified expenses in the relevant tariffs.

The regulator was issued an order to exclude unreasonably included costs for 2018-2020 in the amount of 89 million rubles from tariffs for water supply and sanitation services, the order was fully executed.
