FAS AIMES TO STRENGTHEN THE RUSSIAN-TAJIK COOPERATION IN THE FIELD OF COMPETITION POLICY
Maxim Shaskolsky and Abdulmajid Muminzod have discussed the state and prospects of cooperation between antimonopoly regulators of both countries
Competition authorities of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan are actively interacting both bilaterally and at the ICAP site.*
An important activity of both countries is protection and promotion of competition, as well as development of enforcement practices, which are being improved to meet the challenges ahead and the need to overcome contemporary crises.
FAS Russia has an extensive experience in antimonopoly regulation of commodity markets and countering anti-competitive practices. FAS Russia is ready to share experience and its legal practice in the social and digital markets, experience in combating cartels, including in the framework of training activities and workshops to improve the skills of employees.
Maxim Shaskolsky and Abdulmajid Muminzod also discussed the possibility of conducting training seminars for the Tajik colleagues in different sectors of the market, including in an online format.
At the end of the meeting, the parties noted the high level of mutually beneficial cooperation between the competition authorities of both countries and expressed the hope for its expansion.
* Memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of competition policy between FAS Russia and Antimonopoly Service of the Republic of Tajikistan was signed in 2018
