FAS REVEALED CARTEL IN THE LABORATORY RESEARCH WORTH MORE THAN 1.1 BILLION RUB

Five companies are suspected of collusion in bidding for the supply of laboratory and production equipment, consumables for laboratory research and chemical products

FAS Russia has initiated a case on violation of antimonopoly legislation against EluentLaboratoriz LLC, Molbiol LLC, Analytical Manufactory LLC, Rusmedtorg LLC, Medstandart LLC*.

According to the preliminary assessment of the authority, the total amount of initial (maximum) contract prices in 41 procurement procedures may amount to over 1.1 billion rubles.

A part of the funds for the supply of goods was allocated within the framework of the federal project "Export of agricultural products", and the supply of goods was carried out by organizations on the territory of 24 subjects of the Russian Federation.

The materials received by FAS Russia, including by monitoring procurement procedures, served as the basis for initiating the case.

If found guilty, organizations face a fine in accordance with the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation**.
