MICROLIFE AG ELIMINATED ANTIMONOPOLY VIOLATIONS IN THE SALE OF TONOMETERS

The actions of the company led to the establishment and maintenance of prices for devices for the measurement of arterial pressure produced by Microlife AG* in the Russian market

To recall, the case against was initiated in February 2023. FAS Russia found that the company directed to buyers price lists with prices for subsequent retail sale to consumers. According to the guidance, retail prices should not be lower than a set amount.

On June 21, FAS Russia found Microlife AG guilty of coordinating economic activities**. The violation resulted in the establishment of recommended retail prices on the Yandex.Market, Ozon and Apteka.ru platforms, as well as in the control of prices and the impact on them.

Microlife AG assisted in the course of the investigation of the circumstances of the case and took necessary measures to eliminate violations of the legislation, that is why the remedies were not issued. The fine will be estimated in the framework of consideration of the case on administrative offence.
