FAS INSPECTS THE FORMATION OF TICKET PRICES BY AIRLINES

The authority operates jointly with the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation

FAS Russia and its regional offices, together with the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation, conduct inspections of Russian airlines and airports. The agencies check the formation of airline ticket prices by carriers, as well as the establishment and application of tariffs and fees for aircraft maintenance at airports.

Regional offices of FAS Russia also participate in the inspection. So, at present, verification events are held in the city of Moscow, in Khabarovsk, Krasnoyarsk, Perm, Primorsky and Trans-Baikal Territories, in Moscow, Arkhangelsk, Orenburg and Vologda regions, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous district and the Republics of Tatarstan, Komi and Mordovia.

In case of detection of signs of violation of antimonopoly legislation, the authority will take measures of antimonopoly response.
