FAS FINED PROMOMED DM FOR INAPPROPRIATE ADVERTISING

The advertiser guaranteed consumers a positive result from the use of the AMBENE BIO medicine

Earlier, FAS Russia received an application from Pharmstandard JSC with a complaint about the advertisement of the AMBENE BIO medicine, which was distributed at the 17th National Congress of Therapists through advertising leaflets.
 
Advertising of the medicine reassured consumers of its use in the treatment of osteoarthritis, guaranteeing the positive effect and effectiveness of the medicine.
 
According to the Law on Advertising, advertising of medicines should not guarantee their positive effect, safety, effectiveness and absence of side effects.
 
The authority recognized the advertisement as inappropriate and fined PROMOMED DM LLC for violation of advertising legislation in the amount of 200 thousand rubles.
