A GUILTY VERDICT WAS PASSED IN THE CRIMINAL CASE OF THE CARTEL IN STAVROPOL

Collusion was revealed at auctions held on the territory of five regions of the country

In 2020, the Stavropol Regional Office of FAS Russia revealed a cartel between Stroykoncept LLC, Don Music LLC, Kubanmediaproekt LLC, Soglasie LLC, ScenaSvet LLC and two individual entrepreneurs*. The anti-competitive agreement was concluded at 82 auctions, the subject of which was the supply and installation of equipment for cinema halls. The amount of contracts concluded in the Stavropol and Krasnodar Territories, Rostov and Volgograd regions and the city of Moscow amounted to 301,047,233 rubles.

The cartel members have been brought to administrative responsibility. The total amount of the imposed turnover fines was 16,230,320 rubles. Subsequently, the materials of the antimonopoly case were sent to the internal affairs bodies**.

According to the results of the preliminary investigation, the materials of the criminal case were transferred to the court. The Leninsky District Court of the city of Stavropol has convicted one of the entrepreneurs participating in the cartel. He was sentenced to 4 years’ suspended imprisonment ***.
