FAS: DETSKY MIR FIXED MAXIMUM PRICES FOR SCHOOL GOODS

The initiative was implemented at the suggestion of FAS Russia to increase the availability of such goods before the start of the new academic year

The list of products with fixed prices includes individual items of school uniforms and clothing of the autumn-winter 2023/2024 season, as well as stationery, school supplies and children's creativity.

In a number of categories, the retailer even significantly reduced prices for consumers. In particular, the cost of one of the models of backpacks with a pencil case was twice lower than in 2022.

Besides, against the background of a seasonal increase in demand, Detsky Mir informed the authority about maintaining minimum prices for school assortment goods at the level of 2021.

Detsky Mir also complies with all previously assumed voluntary obligations. These include limiting margins on a number of items in the category of "consumer goods" at a level not higher than 20 %, as well as fixing prices for individual items of goods in the categories of "clothing" and "shoes" at the level of January 2022.

FAS Russia will continue to monitor compliance by Detsky Mir with all the above voluntary commitments.
