FAS: 5 COAL COMPANIES HAVE APPROVED PRICING PRINCIPLES BASED ON DOMESTIC INDICATORS

These organizations include SUEK JSC, Stroyservice JSC, Kuzbass Fuel Company JSC, TALTEK JSC, Russian Coal JSC

Earlier, the Exchange Committee of FAS Russia recommended companies to develop and coordinate with the authority trade and sales policies (TSP).

Currently, the authority has concluded that the documents of these 5 companies comply with antimonopoly legislation. They provide for the priority of supplies to the domestic market and the use of Russian indicators in coal pricing.

Trade and sales policies will be posted on the companies' websites. The draft documents of the other organizations are now being finalized in accordance with the recommendations of FAS Russia.

Besides, Exchange Committee of FAS Russia also recommended companies to work out the issue of selling coal through the exchange for a certain month of delivery to increase liquidity and attract new participants.

As of December 5, 2023, coal was sold through exchange trading in the amount of 208,320 tons. The first auction took place in February of this year.
