FAS RUSSIA DREW ATTENTION OF AIRLINES TO PRICING DURING THE NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS

As a result of the work carried out by the authority, prices for tickets were reduced between 7 and 39 %

FAS Russia monitors the minimum cost of economy class air tickets, including on New Year holidays. Monitoring is conducted on more than 330 of the most popular routes.

After analyzing the data, the authority recommended airlines to review the policy of pricing air tickets during a period of high demand. As a result of this work, the prices for air travel during the holidays were adjusted.

To date, economy class tickets with a reduced price are on sale in the direction of the south of Russia, the regions of the North Caucasus, as well as to the largest cities of the country and back during the New Year holidays.

FAS Russia continues to monitor the minimum cost of air tickets on a continuous basis.
