As a result of joint control activities of FAS Russia, Main Directorate of Economic Security and Anti-Corruption of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia and the Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, a cartel was revealed during bidding for major repairs of apartment buildings.
Bidders agreed not to reduce the price in procurement procedures carried out by the Fund for the Capital Repair of Apartment Buildings in the Bryansk Region.
FAS Russia recognized 39 organizations and 7 entrepreneurs (1) as violating antimonopoly legislation (2) when conducting 460 procurement procedures.
The total size of the initial (maximum) contract prices was 2,079,661,661 rubles.
Violators face turnover fines in accordance with the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation (3).
Investigation Department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs opened criminal cases on the grounds of a crime provided for in Part 2 of Article 178 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
