Workshop on promoting competition international best practices

Virtual Meeting of the APEC Competition Policy and Law Group

On February 25, 2021 the virtual meeting was held with the participation of the representative of the Department for International Economic Cooperation of the FAS Russia.

During the meeting, the APEC Secretariat presented information on current and future projects, as well as identified priority areas of work for 2021, which focus on increasing the effectiveness of APEC activities in the field of competition policy, the intensification of mutual information exchange between APEC economies, the organization of capacity-building programs in the form of dialogue or seminars on issues of mutual interest.

Besides, during the meeting, the participants made reports on the developments within their respective competition policy and legal frameworks.
