Court pronounced legitimacy of reducing water supply tariffs for consumers in the Voronezh region

In 2016 FASdecreasedthetariffby 14.2%, “RBK-Voronezh” Ltd. Challenged the FAS decision

Considering a pre-judicial dispute between “RBK-Voronezh” Ltd. and the Office for State Tariff Regulation in the Voronezh region, FAS found that the company spent 241 million RUB, not provided for by the tariff.

FAS issued a determination to the regional tariff body to exclude this amount from the tariffs of “RBK-Voronezh” Ltd. for 2016. It will reduce the water supply tariffs for the residents and organizations in Voronezh.

In March 2016 the regional tariff body executed the FAS decision.

“RBK-Voronezh” Ltd. challengedthe conclusions reached by the antimonopoly body. Mosocw Arbitration Court, however, dismissed the claim and pronounced legitimacy of FAS decision.

"The decision is a precedent. Regional tariff regulators should take it into account in their work", emphasized Deputy Head of FAS Sergey Puzyrevskiy.
