“The concept of daily recording of the volumes of gas traded through the exchange should be introduced”

The Chairman of the Exchange Committee, Deputy Head of FAS Anatoly Golomolzin made this statement at an off-site meeting in St Petersburg on 30 June 2017.

The participants of the event focused on the gas market discussed organization of trading involving an Operator of goods supplies at SPIMEX. They pointed out that the project progress is in accord with the time-schedule. It is expected that the trading involving an Operator of goods supplies – “Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Postavka” Ltd., will be launched in autumn 2017.

A concept of daily recording of the volumes of trading gas, devised by “Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Postavka” Ltd. was presented. Members of FAS Exchange Committee agreed with the need of implementing the concept.

A number of organizations aspects were discussed. In particular, a decision was made to form a Conflict Commission at the Exchange Committee to settle disputes and disagreements between participants of exchange gas trading.
