FAS RUSSIA AND MINISTRY OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE WILL JOINTLY WORK ON GIVING PRIORITY TO PROCUREMENT OF RUSSIAN INDUSTRIAL GOODS

The corresponding Agreement was signed by Petr Ivanov, Deputy Head of FAS Russia, and Vasily Osmakov, Vice Minister of Industry and Trade

The document will ensure monitoring of compliance with the national procurement regime. The authorities intend to jointly develop proposals to improve the statutory regulation of granting priority to Russian industrial goods within the framework of the Law on the Contract System* and the Law on Procurement**. It also applies to measures aimed at creating a competitive environment for suppliers and manufacturers.

The signing of the Agreement will contribute to the development of the national economy and import substitution policy, as well as the protection of the domestic market of the country and the support of Russian manufacturers.
