FAS always have plenty of interesting work; we are ready to share our knowledge and experience”.
FAS continues organizing career-guiding tours for schoolchildren who are at the stage of choosing: what do they want to become – lawyers or economists?
On 17 February middle-school students visited the antimonopoly authority to learn about competition law, the objectives of the Antimonopoly Service and how economic and legal knowledge received at universities can be applied in the practice of antimonopoly regulation. The Head of Legal Expertise Unit, Marina Oreshkina, talked with the children about the legal profession and the work of FAS Legal Department. The schoolchildren were interested in everything: how does the Department work, what is a typical workday, does the staff needs to know foreign languages and what prospects can be opened with an experience of public service. Having visited the FAS museum and got answers to their questions, the 8-graders confirmed that they are ready to come back to FAS as intern students and young specialists.
