Andrey Tsarikovsky is awarded a second-class Stolypin medal
The order is signed by Prime-Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
Stats-Secretary, Deputy Head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) Andrey Tsarikovsky is awarded a second-class Stolypin medal for his significant contributionin the national policy on developing competition, preventing, restricting and suppressing monopolistic activities as well as for many years of dedicated work.
Andrey Tsarikovsky authored more than 30 scholarly works, particularly several monographs, 12 of which are on economics and budgetary policy.
Earlier Deputy Head of FAS received, in particular, the following government awards: the Order of Friendship, a Certificate of Appreciation from the Government of the Russian Federation, and a fourth-class “Order of Merits for the Fatherland”.
Since FAS was established, Andrey Tsarikovsky has supervised such areas of the work of the antimonopoly authority as combating cartels, control over public procurement, the military-industrial complex, the housing & utility sector, construction, natural resources as well as FAS public relations.
He also formulated numerous legislative initiatives in the competition law, the law on public procurement and the law on administrative violations.
