FAS launched an e-Register of natural monopolies

An automated FAS Register of natural monopolies is a currently exhaustive list of companies and organizations subject to state regulation and control by FAS to determine, set and apply tariffs. At the moment it includes natural monopolies on transport, communications, water supply and drainage using district and communal infrastructure systems as well as radioactive waste disposal sites and fuel-and-energy complex.

The Register comprises economic entities from all regions of the Russian Federation; search is possible by the title of an organization, an individual taxpayer number and the national classifier of companies and organizations.

FAS Register of natural monopolies is working in the test mode. Proposals on its additions or improvements are being accepted.

Updated data on changes to the Register of natural monopolies in each regulated field are published monthly on FAS web-site (the “Tariff Regulation” Section).

FAS is also compiling an open data set from the e-Register of natural monopolies. It will enable to unload information in bulk and by separate materials, and form various information excerpts, statistical uploads and other up-to-date analyses on its basis.

Current open data sets and plant to develop them can be found in the “Open Data” section” on FAS official web-site.
