It follows from the Ranking of publishing information in the open data format by public authorities. The Ranking is prepared by the Analytical Centre at the Government of the Russian Federation.

FAS is on the first position in the Ranking of federal executive bodies on the ratio of timely datasets in Q4 2015 and Q1 2016. The findings by the Analytical Centre at the Government of the Russian Federation showed that all published datasets in the period in question were of immediate interest.

“Evaluation of the ratio of current datasets showed that only the Federal Antimonopoly Service has datasets that are all current. FAS was on the first position in 2015 and in Q1 2016”, pointed out the authors of the Ranking.

The competition authority also was assigned the maximum scores in the rankings on the ratio of downloaded current datasets in the same period. According to the findings, all datasets published by FAS were sought-after by users.

“The ratio of downloaded current datasets characterizes both the state of being in demand and the quality of datasets <…> Only FAS has datasets that are all downloaded and current”, write experts of the Analytical Centre at the Government of the Russian Federation.

As a result, the Antimonopoly Service is among the leaders of the integral Ranking of publishing information in the open data format, reaching the fifth position. The integral Ranking is a comprehensive evaluation, factoring in publication activity, the state of being in demand, the quality of the published datasets, and the level of complying with the law.
