Anatoly Golomolzin: the Tyumen region sets landmarks for developing Russian economy
On 28 July regional FAS bodies of the Urals Federal District discussed pressing practical issues in the antimonopoly law.
The Government of the Tyumen region and the Federal Antimonopoly Service signed a Memorandum, which, in the opinion of Deputy Head of FAS Anatoly Golomolzin, is of significance not only for the region but also for the entire Russia. He emphasized: “The Tyumen region became a pilot site, a pattern of further changes for the entire Russian Federation. Here the regional authorities are amongst the most advanced in the issues of technical connection to gas networks and companies are customer-oriented and modern. We plan to disseminate their experience. Already 9 regions are prepared to reproduce Tyumen novelties on network connection and other regions are discussing them. It appears that the whole country will follow Tyumen which will go through the entire chain under the “pilot” project and became a conductor for developing Russian economy”.
Such workshops form good platforms to resolve the most pressing issues, thinks Deputy Governor of the Tyumen region, Vyacheslav Vakhrin. It was already the third meeting in the past six months, and the regions uses every opportunity to talk about the current difficulties and find correct solutions together with colleagues he said: “The Tyumen region presented a survey of tariff-setting issues in the electric power industry. We faced some difficulties and suggest that that everybody should join all-inclusive discussion and searching recipes that can help resolve tense situations. This is the main value of such workshops that generate a colossal effect for all who participate in a dialogue”.
For two days representatives of FAS regional bodies will discuss cooperation between economic entities and the antimonopoly bodies, granting state and municipal preferences, legal regulation of the regional tariff policy. Several Round Tables and Sections analyzed judicial practice of antimonopoly enforcement by regional bodies in the Urals Federal District.
