Belarus antimonopoly workers came to Kazan for anti-cartel experience
A training course on exposing and proving anticompetitive relations completed in FAS Centre for Education and Methodics.
The course listeners were employees of the regional bodies of the Federal Antimonopoly Service and representatives of a recently formed Ministry for Antimonopoly Regulation and Trading of the Republic of Belarus.
The workshop included the procedure for investigating cases under Articles 11, 16 and Clause 1 Part 1 Article 17 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”, the methods of exposing anticompetitive relations, establishing and formalizing evidence, the rules for estimating turnover fines, specifics of defining a subordinated group of persons, review of judicial practice and cooperation with the enforcement bodies. A lot of attention was paid to practical cases.
The course lecturers were members of staff of the Anti-Cartel Department of the Federal Antimonopoly Service, Olga Frantsevich, Anastasia Orlik and Anatoly Igoshin.
