FAS and the Government of the Saratov region signed an Agreement on Cooperation

To implement the agreement, the parties made arrangements on information exchange, mutual consultations, working meetings and focused workshops.

On behalf of the antimonopoly authority the Agreement is signed by Head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) Igor Service; on behalf of the Government of the Saratov region – Governor Valery Radaev.

The Agreement on Cooperation provides for measures designed to protect competition, create conditions for efficient market performance, pursuing the national policy towards competition development in the Saratov region, intensifying investment activity, increasing competition in public, municipal and corporate procurement, improving information openness of the work of executive bodies and local-self-government.

Special attention in the Agreement is given to cooperation in order to implement the Competition Development Standard in the Saratov region.

The bodies authorized to implement the Agreement are: the Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service in the Saratov region and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Saratov region.
