Staff members of the Antimonopoly Service are awarded Medals of the Order of “Merit for the Motherland”

On 19 December 2016, the Government of the Russian Federation held an award ceremony for representatives of the authorities.

I Degree Medals of the Order of “Merit for the Motherland” are awarded for the merits in pursuing the national policy for developing competition, preventing, restricting, suppressing monopolistic activity and many years of dedicated work are awarded to:

- Head of FAS Department for International Economic Cooperation, Lesya Davydova

- Head of Novosibirsk OFAS, Sergey Gavrilov.

II Degree Medals of the Order of “Merit for the Motherland” are awarded to:

- Head of Krasnodar OFAS, Rufina Degtyaryova

- Head of Chuvashia OFAS, Vyacheslav Borisov

- Deputy Head of FAS Administrative Department – Secretariat for Head of FAS, Larisa Tselikova.

Medal of the Order of “Merit for the Motherland” was included in the Russian national award system in March 1994. The Medals can be awarded to the citizens of the Russian Federation in civil and military service who made significant contribution in social, economic, cultural, scientific development of Russia, and for contribution in maintaining proper defence capacity of the Motherland.
