FAS opened a new case against computer companies

FAS initiated proceedings against “PK Aquarius” Ltd. and “T-Platform” OJSC upon signs of breaching Clause 2 Part 1 Article 11 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”

The companies are suspected of entering into an anticompetitive agreement taking part in an auction for supplying super-computer system for the needs of “Kurchatov Institute” National Research Centre” Federal State Budgetary Enterprise. As a result of the auction the initial price was reduced by 0.5 %.

Earlier FAS brought “PK Aquarius” Ltd. as a respondent in a bid-rigging case for supplying base units for automation tool systems for regional fragments of “Vybory” State Automated System designed for the Federal Informatization Centre at the Central Electoral Committee.

“FAS continues its efforts on exposing bid-rigging cartel for supplying computer equipment an software for the authorities”, pointed out Head of FAS Anti-Cartel Department, Andrey Tenishev.
