FAS proposes the Ministry of Construction to refine the “Road Map” for developing competition in construction
FAS Expert Council for developing competition in the construction sector
On 17 October, the agenda of FAS Expert Council for developing competition in the construction sector included two items: progress in implementing administrative appeal in construction put into effect in 2016; and 2016-2017 Competition Development Plan for the construction industry that is being devised by the Ministry of Construction.
Representatives of the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of transport, the federal Road Agency, the Analytical Centre under the Government of the Russian Federation, Rostekhnadzor, “Business Russia” National Association, “OPORA Russia” Ltd., the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Chief Department for State Expert Examination, “PIK Group” PJSC, “Mosinzhproekt” JSC, “Roszheldorproekt” JSC, “Mosgortrest” etc., took part in the Expert Council.
The Council Chairman, Deputy Head of FAS Rachik Petrosyan concluded: “In our opinion, the Competition Development Planneeds serious improvement. It should be added measures that can truly have an integrated effect upon developing competition in the construction sector. To this reason, FAS and the Ministry of Construction are organizing this discussion with the expert community. We ask industry experts to prepare their proposals and submit them to be included in the Competition Development Plan”.
