FAS MADE THE FIRST DECISION ON SETTING 5-YEAR TARIFFS

On 22 February 2018, FAS Board approved the tariffs for the services of gas transportation via the gas-distribution networks of “Yugtransgaz” Ltd. in the Rostov region.

For the first time a decision is made on setting 5-year tariffs under the frame of a transition to long-term regulation. Therefore, FAS has moved from the three-year regulation to long-term tariff-making on the basis of corporate payment substantiating documents for 2018-2022.

Deputy Head of FAS Anatoly Golomolzin pointed out: “Being one of the fundamental principles of the new tariff policy, long-term tariff-setting enables optimization of not only current operations but also investment activities. It concerns regulated organizations as well as users of their services. Long-term tariffs form a reliable basis for long-term development of the national economy”.
